Noteable dates for your diaries

Many thanks for everyone who braved the atrocious weather last week.
We had a great turn out considering the difficulties getting there.

A few dates for our diaries;

Thursday 5th March is the Sales Master Class organised by Barry Dean (details below)

Monday 9th March is the next date for the Yorkshire Property Network event. Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield.

Friday 20th March. We have been invited by our colleague David Caswell to the annual luncheon for The Leeds Estate Agents, Surveyors and Valuers Association (details below).

I've also attached a useful piece of information about Tax and the Property Investor, supplied by one of our speakers, Simon Gray of Hentons & Co. Chartered Accountants.

As announced at the meeting, I am ex-president of The Leeds Estate Agents, Surveyors and Valuers Association and I would like to take this opportunity to invite members of Yorkshire Property Network to our annual luncheon.
The event takes place at the Hilton Hotel, Neville Street, Leeds on Friday 20th March. Reception is at 12 o clock in the Briggantes Suite before going through to the formal luncheon at 1.00 p.m. Dress code is Lounge Suits.
This is followed by speeches until approx 3.30 when everybody moves on to The Scarborough Taps until approx 11.00p.m. ( You can leave earlier ! )

The next event takes place Monday 9th February, The Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield, 7pm
start.

This event is for anyone who has an interest or business in the property industry and for anyone wishing to find out more.Everyone attending the Yorkshire Property Network event will have the opportunity to promote their business, make new contacts and ask questions about anything "property", whether it's building advice, financial, legal, investor, tenants, furnishings, etc, etc, I'm sure most questions can be answered!!

Barry had us all enthralled with his presence and knowledge in the psychology of sales techniques, (Performance Development).Barry has also agreed to offer all attendees, at the next event only, a tailor made Master Class in Sales Techniques. Everyone in any type of business will find a great financial benefit from improving their sales technique and I strongly recommend we all take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.

Simon Gray, from Henton & Co, Chartered Accountants, will be telling us about the "grey" areas of Taxation for Property Investors and how it effects us.
